How To Wear Red Lipstick

Think you can’t pull off red lipstick? Think again! It’s all about finding the right shade of red for your skin tone. Wearing such bold lips is all about confidence, so lets experiment a bit to find what looks best on you.

First and foremost, you want to get that true color so patting a little concealer around your lip line before applying your lipstick will help the color from bleeding. Next, if you have a pale complexion, choose cooler reds like a true red or a pinkish red. If you have a warm complexion, choose warmer reds with a brown base, like a brick or rusty red. Finding the right shade will avoid you looking like a clown. Lastly, since red lips are dramatic, you want to keep the rest of your face simple.

Now that you know the rules of wearing red lipstick, grab your little black dress, and enjoy a night out in town with your favorite girls or special someone. Don’t forget Eména Spa offers beauty consultations for those special occasions! See you soon!

Hyperpigmented Skin?

Our skin contains melanin, a chemical that gives our skin its color. Too much melanin can lead to hyperpigmented skin. Hyperpigmentation may be caused by sun damage, acne blemishes, or other skin injuries. It is one of the most common skin conditions and also one of the most difficult to treat. A combination of in-spa treatments at Eména Spa with the use of Éminence Organic Skin Care facial techniques and products can help you achieve dramatic results.

The Miami Design District <3’s Boston Empowerment Not Fear Bash

This past week The Miami Design District got together to help raise money for the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy in April. Our neighbors came out to support The Miami Design District <3’s Boston Empowerment Not Fear Bash in The Moore Building. The event was a success as ticket sales benefited The One Fund Boston Charity. There was delicious food from our local restaurants, great music from live DJs, dancing, prizes and much more. Eména Spa hosted a nail and braid bar where guests enjoyed manicures and fabulous hair braids. Check out the photos below!
